The North Laurel Animal Hospital is happy to accommodate your prescription needs. We have an onsite pharmacy and are able to fill most prescription medications. Some prescriptions require that your pet have an exam by one of our doctors within a month of your request for filling. For clarification on your specific case, please consult your attending doctor.
The North Laurel Animal Hospital has partnered with IDEXX laboratories to deliver the best diagnostic testing for your pets. We have installed the IDEXX Vetlab Station, two IDEXX LaserCtyes, IDEXX Catalyst DX and IDEXX Snapshot DX enabling us to deliver fast and accurate diagnoses within eight minutes. We are capable of performing hundreds of diagnostic tests on site from complete blood counts to bile acid levels and many more.
Some samples require the eye of a trained specialist such as a parasitologist. In these cases, we work primarily with IDEXX laboratories but may also send samples to a number of respected universities including:
