Bob Cohn DVM..

Dr. Bob attended FRANKLIN PIERCE COLLEGE in Rindge, New Hampshire, and graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He then did his graduate work at Araneta University . Dr. Bob graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in May of 1979. He passed the State Board Examinations and became licensed in New York State, Maryland, Florida, Connecticut. He then entered private practice in a Surgical Referral Practice in New York City (Flushing Animal Hospital), and a private Companion Animal Hospital on Long Island ( Mid Island Animal Hospital).

Dr. Bob is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, The Eastern Veterinary Orthopedic Society (E.V.O.S), The Veterinary Orthopedic Society(V.O.S.), The Maryland Veterinary Medical Association.

He has been a managing Board Member of the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Catonsville, Maryland since 1990.

Dr. Bob has also been very active in various youth hockey organizations including Montgomery Youth Hockey Association, Howard County Youth Hockey, Nelson Hockey Club. He is currently an assistant coach for the “ICE DOGS” who’s members are children and adults with various disabilities including but not limited to Downs’ Syndrome, and Autism.. Dr. Bob enjoys playing and coaching Ice Hockey, collecting and playing guitars, and collecting music.

Dr. Bob is married to Robin, and they have a son Andrew. Robin is also a recognized wild bird rehabilitator.
